Develop independent, creative
and critical thinkers

Daily life

This area focuses on teaching children basic everyday skills such as dressing, preparing food, cleaning and organizing.

Sense Education

This is about training children's senses and helping them to better perceive and understand the world around them. This can be achieved through Montessori sensory materials and activities.

Bilingual Language Development

Montessori attaches great importance to language development. In a prepared environment, the children are encouraged to express themselves orally, to tell stories, to expand their vocabulary and to develop their first writing and reading skills.

Mathematical Development

In this area, children learn math concepts through hands-on materials. You can count, do arithmetic and explore basic mathematical principles with these materials.

Cosmic Education (Cultural and Scientific Areas)

This area includes subjects such as geography, science, history, art and music. Children are given the opportunity to explore the world around them and develop an understanding of different cultures and areas of knowledge.

Movement and Body Awareness

Montessori promotes the physical development of children through targeted movement and sensory activities. Children get to know their bodies better and develop their motor skills.

Creativity and Self-expression

The children have the opportunity to develop their creative side, be it through art, music, dance or other creative activities.

Media and IT

Basic media education and first encounters with digital media. To develop skills to use media in a self-determined and critical way.

Overview

Children start to explore the world around them as soon as they are born. At Kidzee, the play group curriculum enables children to continue their exploration. Early experiences in the first few years of life are critical for acquisition of skills as maximum brain development happens during this period. The objective of the program is to train parents to help them foster their child’s development by learning and practising child development through a scientific approach. This program will foster social, aesthetic and motor skills in young children. This program helps infants and toddlers develop their latent language and maths skills through the Glenn Doman method.

Building blocks of our pedagogical concept

Our Montessori after-school care concept promotes the individual development, independence and active participation of the child in everyday life in the after-school care center. These are the most important features of our Montessori daycare center:

01

Prepared Environment

Our daycare center is tailored to the needs and interests of the children. There are a variety of materials and activities for children to explore independently.

02

Self-directed Learning

We promote the independence and personal responsibility of the children. Children have the freedom to choose from a range of activities and materials and learn at their own pace.

03

Materials and Activities

Montessori materials are specially designed educational tools that appeal to children's senses and cognitive development. These materials are geared towards concrete experiences and support independent learning.

04

Mixed-age Groups

In children's activities, we often encourage mixed age groups. Younger children learn from the older ones, while older children have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge by helping younger children.

05

Individual Advice

Our teachers closely monitor the children to understand their individual interests and needs. They provide targeted guidance and support when the children are looking for it.

06

Free Choice of Activities

Children are free to choose activities that interest and challenge them. This promotes intrinsic motivation and the joy of learning.

07

Focus on Practical Skills

We encourage the development of practical life skills such as self-care, household chores and everyday activities.

08

Concentration and Patience

Children are encouraged to focus on and complete one activity. This promotes the development of patience, perseverance and the ability to concentrate

09

Respect for the Child

The Montessori philosophy emphasizes respect for the individuality of each child. Our teachers take care to respect the dignity and autonomy of each child.

10

Parental Involvement

Our institution values and encourages collaboration between parents and teachers. Parents are often involved in the educational process and encouraged to apply Montessori principles at home.
